This feature provides detailed communication skill assessments based on your spoken performance in standalone roleplays.
1. What This Feature Provides
After completing a standalone roleplay, eligible users will receive feedback on four communication metrics:
Relevance – How well your response fits the conversation context.
Register – Whether your tone and formality match the situation.
Politeness – How courteous and socially appropriate your phrasing is.
Confidence – How assured, fluent, and decisive you sound.
This feedback is generated using AI and is designed to help improve real-world communication skills.
2. Eligibility
Communication skills feedback is available only for B1+ (Intermediate and Advanced) users.
Beginner learners (A1-A2) will not see these new metric tabs.
3. When Feedback Appears
To receive the new assessment:
You must complete a standalone roleplay (not part of the Learning Path).
You must speak more than 75 words during the conversation.
If the 75-word requirement is not met, the communication skills feedback will not appear.
4. How the Feedback Flow Works
User participates in a standalone roleplay.
Once the user has spoken 75+ words, a summary feedback card appears.
User taps “View Full Assessment” to open the detailed report.
B1+ users will see four tabs added (Relevance, Register, Politeness, Confidence).
Each tab provides descriptive feedback on performance in that skill.
5. Updates to “Overall Feedback”
The existing Overall Feedback tab has been adjusted:
It no longer references specific metrics.
Redundant information (e.g., tone relevance) has been removed to avoid overlap with the new tabs.
The content focuses on general performance rather than metric-based evaluation.
