Ready to explore? Your learning features are now organized into four main tabs at the bottom of your screen: Coach, AI Chats, Discover, and Progress. Each tab is designed around how you use the app to make navigation faster and easier.
Let’s walk through your new navigation bar. Your features are now grouped into four categories based on their use:
Coach: Personal AI Coaches, including AI Conversation & Pronunciation Coaches.
AI Chats: Interactive Roleplay conversations.
Discover: Courses and other content exploration.
Progress: Tracking your growth and stats.
1. Coach:
This is where you can find the Speech Analyzer and various coaches for clear English practice.
Speech Analyzer:
Speech Analyzer is an AI-powered speaking evaluation tool that helps you analyze and improve your spoken English performance.
- It evaluates:
- Pronunciation
- Fluency
- Intonation
- Grammar
- Vocabulary
What’s New on Mobile?
- No need to use the web version anymore
- Record and analyze your speech directly in the app
- Save and review your recordings anytime
- Receive instant feedback and transcripts
Pronunciation Coach:
Access Dictionary, Skills (planets), and Daily Practice here. You can find them by following these steps:
Tap the Coach tab at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Practice under the Pronunciation Coach section.
From the top to bottom:
Dictionary: Look up the meaning of any words to practice with.
Skills: Practice individual English sounds.
Daily Practice: Complete a number of lessons every day.
Grammar Coach:
Grammar Coach is a new AI-powered feature designed to help you improve your English grammar skills in a structured, interactive, and engaging way.
- Suitable for all levels, from A1 beginners to advanced C2 learners.
- Provides step-by-step guidance to help you confidently understand and apply grammar in real situations.

This is where you can find the AI Conversation Coach (your personal learning path) and the Pronunciation Coach for clear English practice.

3. AI Chats:
This is the new home for the AI Tutor and the Role-Play Lab to practice conversations and create your own scenarios.
In Role-Play Lab, you can have a random scenario created for you, or create your own scenario. Additionally, you can choose among the various scenarios created by ELSA based on your activity.
4. Discover:
This tab is where you can explore other features like Courses, Topics, and Study Sets.
- Study Sets: These are lists of words or phrases you can practice. You can create your own sets or use sets made by the ELSA community to focus on the exact vocabulary you need.
- Courses: These are structured learning program designed for specific goals, such as IELTS or Oxford Business. When you finish all the lessons in a course, you can earn an e-Certificate to show your hard work.
- Topics: Lessons of different topics from Career to Daily Conversation, allowing you to practice speaking in your favorite topic.

5. Progress:
The Progress tab shows you how much you are improving in ELSA. At the top of this screen, you can easily switch between your Profile, Achievements, and the Leaderboard.
