Each recording will include two types of feedback: a benchmark score based on international English tests and an overall speaking score from ELSA.

1. The score benchmark compares your speaking performance to international English tests, including:

  1. IELTS CEFR

  2. TOEFL

  3. CEFR

  4. PTE

  5. TOEIC

2. Below the score benchmark, you'll find the Score Breakdown. Click on each tab to view your score and key performance highlights for the following submetrics:

  1. Pronunciation

  2. Intonation

  3. Fluency

  4. Grammar

  5. Vocabulary



Speech Analyzer - Detailed Feedback - Pronunciation


For each of the submetrics, you will receive detailed feedback. In the Pronunciation metric, you can find:

  1. Top errors.

  2. Video tutorial for improvement

Users can click on highlighted text to view detailed performance, listen to sample voices, or compare with their own recording.



Speech Analyzer - Detailed Feedback - Intonation


In the Intonation metric, you will receive detailed feedback on:

  1. Pitch variation and the target range.

  2. Key emphasis areas within your speech.



Speech Analyzer - Detailed Feedback - Fluency


In the Fluency metric, you will receive detailed feedback on:

  1. Pace: The speed at which you speak during your speech.

  2. Pauses: Whether you pause at natural and appropriate points.

  3. Hesitation: Your confidence level and the use of filler words.




Speech Analyzer - Detailed Feedback - Grammar


In the Grammar metric, you will receive detailed feedback on:

  1. List of Grammatical Range achieved.

  2. Top Grammatical Errors.

  3. Suggestions for improvement on any errors made.



Speech Analyzer - Detailed Feedback - Vocabulary


In the Vocabulary metric, you will receive detailed feedback on:

  1. Vocabulary Distribution.

  2. Highlights of top vocabulary performance.

  3. Suggestions for expanding your vocabulary range.

  4. Recommendations for improving the use of casual or informal terms.


Speech Analyzer - Transcript


Under each recording, you will find the full transcript of your speech. In this section, you can:

  1. Re-listen to your voice or generate an alternative text for your speech.

  2. Report any issues related to your recording or results.
